Board of Public Works

Board of Public Works consists of the City Attorney, the Mayor of the City, the Director of Public Works, the City Comptroller, and five (5) members of the Council to be appointed by the Mayor. The City Clerk shall serve as the Board's recording secretary. The five (5) members of the Council shall hold annual terms.

​It shall be the duty of the Board of Public Works, under the direction of the Common Council, to superintend all facilities, and forestry functions and keep the streets, alleys, sewers, and public works and places in repair.
