All entries line up facing West with Entry #1 lining up on Water Street next to your number posted on the stakes next to the street (The stakes are new - just trying to make it easier!). PARADE BEGINS AT 1:00PM

SANTA will be the last unit in the parade. There should be no other “Santas”. Approximately a one-mile route, the parade turns right onto Main Street from Water Street, continuing down Main to Liberty, turning left onto Liberty Street to disburse. ONLY Santa and Mrs. Claus (last two entries) will continue down Main, across intersection to Stephenson Public Library.

The intent of the City of Marinette’s Christmas Parade is for all participants of all ages to have fun, and that the themes conveyed should be understandable by children and appropriate for viewing by children.  The Parade is intended to be a fun, local event for the Marinette Community to celebrate the Christmas/Holiday Season.

All participants, in consideration of this event, agree to indemnify, hold harmless and release the City of Marinette, its agents and employees, from any and all liability for any injury or damage which may arise out of or in any way be connected with participation in the Christmas Parade.

Any animal units must provide their own “clean-up crew” for their unit in the parade.

There must be an adult on floats where there are children.

All parade participants shall conduct themselves in a manner appropriate for a family audience of all ages, walk in a peaceful and orderly fashion and participate in a civil manner with respect to other participants and the public.

Throwing of candy or any other objects from parade entrants is strictly prohibited.  Handing out candy or objects to the spectators is permitted by walkers only.

To ensure excellence in presentation and efficiency in coordination, approval of entry and placement within the parade lineup is at the discretion of the Parade Coordinators. Please explain on entry form any special requests. Line-up assignment will be provided to you on parade day.

NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED: Alcoholic Beverages are not allowed at the line-up or on the parade route. Please use good common sense, as safety is our primary concern for both participants and spectators.  These rules and regulations are everyone’s safety.
