The City Clerk's office is dedicated to represent democracy by ensuring the integrity of open government and the election process by enhancing open, fair impartial and trusted government. The Office of the Clerk has the fiduciary responsibility to collect, record, and deposit all government receipts and to manage cash and investments in accordance with the City of Marinette Policy.
Administrative Responsibility
The office also has the administrative responsibility for elections, licensing, managing the records of the Common Council, and dissemination of general information to customers.
Request to Receive Notifications Concerning Allowable Use of Property
Pursuant to 2015 Wisconsin Act 391, the City of Marinette Common Council maintains a list of persons who submit a written or electronic request to receive notice of any proposed zoning action or proposed amendment to the City of Marinette Comprehensive Plan that affects the allowable use of the person's property.
