NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL SPRING PRIMARY (IF NECESSARY) AND SPRING ELECTION
WITHIN THE CITY OF MARINETTE, WI ON FEBRUARY 15, 2022 & APRIL 5, 2022
Notice is hereby given that an election is to be held in the City of Marinette on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 where the following Municipal Officers shall be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed below. Alderperson Office terms begin April 19, 2022. Each Alderperson Office listed below is for a (3)-year term expiring on the third Tuesday in April, 2025.
MUNICIPAL OFFICE INCUMBENT
City of Marinette Alderperson Municipal Ward No. 1 Ken Keller
City of Marinette Alderperson Municipal Ward No. 4 Michael Wolfe
City of Marinette Alderperson Municipal Ward At-Large Dorothy Kowalski
Interested candidates can contact the Marinette City Clerk’s office, 1905 Hall Avenue, or call 715-732-5140 for information concerning municipal ward boundaries and to acquire all necessary forms related to adding your name on the official Spring 2022 Election ballot.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the first day to circulate nomination papers is December 1, 2021. The final day for filing declarations of candidacy, campaign registration statements and nomination papers is 5:00 PM on Tuesday January 4, 2022 in the Office of the City of Marinette Clerk. The last day to file a notification of non-candidacy for incumbents not seeking re-election is Friday, December 24, 2021 in the Office of the City of Marinette Clerk.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if, a Spring Primary Election is necessary, it will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election. If you do not have a photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles
